— WASHINGTON (Reuters) - South Korean President Roh Moon-hyun will come to Washington in May on his first official visit to the United States, South Korean Foreign Minister Yoon Young-kwan told reporters on Friday.

"We discussed ... how we can strengthen our bilateral alliance relationship and how we can prepare for the coming summit in May," the minister told reporters after talks at the State Department with Secretary of State Colin Powell.

A senior U.S. official said he could not give the exact date for the visit.
